Zebra Pelican CrossZebra Pelican Cross was performed by Philip Lee, Ann Rapstoff and Cally Trench during The Remarkable Shed Party, curated by Cally Trench and hosted by Sophie Loss, at Sophie's Shed in Islington, London on Sunday 15th July, 2012. Zebra Pelican Cross was a participatory live performance and street intervention on a pelican crossing on City Road near to Sophie's Shed. As part of their ongoing research into zebra crossings, Ann Rapstoff, Cally Trench and Philip Lee invited visitors to join them on a visit to a nearby pelican crossing, which they converted temporarily into a zebra crossing. Philip Lee was painted to resemble a Belisha Beacon. |
